I just received this from a DP member today. Its about Transdyne being a Group III oil. With this being the case even though Group III is much better than any dino you can get, its for sure that a true synthetic which uses a Group IV PAO is better. I no the TES 295 spec is still a concern for some but the Allison extended warranty is not even available in anything but a motorhome and med duty chassis. At least that is what I have been told by many.

Randall:

The AMSOIL Synthetic ATF meets and exceeds all the TES 295 specs. The Castrol product was tested for its performance and found to fall into the Group III base oil category as many of their synthetic products are. The AMSOIL ATF uses the Group IV Polyalphaolefin synthetic base oils.
Thank you for "Asking AMSOIL."
