OK, I took off the 245's and put on 265's and had the speedometer recalibrated but it's still off by 2.5% using highway mile marker sign's to check the odometer. Is this as accurate as I can expect?

If you had the recal done by the dealer using the Tech II, it did nothing for the speedo. It adjusts the ABS settings, not the speedo.

Some have posted that the Superlift Truspeed works well, but it's more than I want to spend on calibrating my speedo.

You are actually off 2.8% and it's kinda progressive, at lower speeds like 35 mph don't worry about it, when you get up around 70 mph you are doing about 72 to 73. Checked it with radar!

Same, put 265/75's on mine, went and checked it on a 7 mile stretch near my house.

After completing the 7 miles, my Odo read 6.8 miles, give or take a hair. To get to 7 miles on the Odo I went about ~7.2 on the road (mileage off bridge abutment)

I figure thats about 3%, or at 65 indicated Im actually going 67 or 68.

Mileage computer might be off by about 1/2 mpg.

Overall, its close enough for me.

KTDURAMAX reported"

"I have just installed a "Truespeed" calibrator from superlift, and it does work. I have 35's on my HD and shifting seems to be a little better. Mainly the speedo is right on after some fine tuning against my GPS. The only thing is that for my '02 they changed the wire color and location from the '01. I notified Superlift and they will correct that. Paid $190.00 w/ shipping & handling from 4wheelerparts. Happy so far...... "

OK math whiz's I did the same 2.45 to 2.65 and am doing GPS 67 at speedo 65. If my "03's" puter shows 16 MPG's what am I actually getting? Thanks in advance.

I installed the Superlift Truspeed and my speedometer is very accurate via gps. I have an '02 and the wire color and location was the same that was outlined for the '01 in the directions. It is interesting that some 02's have different wiring. On my truck it was connector C2 (red) pin #50, dark green and white wire. I am very happy with this mod.

good luck
