Driveline slack?

I have acquired slack in my drivline for no reason that I can think of. When I take off or stop, there is a pause and then a slight clunk. I changed my transmission fluid and that didn't help. I read about a certain grease that was being used on driveline connections? Anyway, it is out of warranty and I thought I could get some ideas from you guys before I took it in.

jlars, seems to be a common problem w/ our trucks. Mine does the same thing. There have been several posts on this subject, just do a search for clunk in rear end, or something similar. The problem is in the rear spring rubbers, and is not serious, just annoying. If it bothers you too much, the search will lead you to a simple cure. Good Luck, DinoMax :D :D
