Anybody out there replace a window motor? Have had the doors apart to replace speakers but didn't bother to look at the motor much. I figure this is a pretty easy install. Thoughts? Thanks in advance, D.

Missed the specs - truck is an '01 Crew Cab. Motor is in the front passenger side. D.

I have window motor #2 being replaced today on my '03 K3500. Driver's side failed first, passenger today.

Both are corrosion related - the truck was used to spread salt when new and has had lots of similar problems since including starter, alternator, plug wires, etc.

There super simple. If you've already had the door panel off you should be able to figure the rest out pretty simply.

go to this post by letsgo and for $5.00 you can repair your window regulator or pay the dealer $450.00 (if this applies)

I bought mine for 70.00 vs. dealer wanted 300.00 for parts takes about 15 min to change. simple as can be. I was a GM tech years ago though.
