I got a bad load of fuel, cleaned tank, filter housing, replaced filter(twice. Water in fuel light gone. Truck ran great for three days then started idling rough and would die. Restarts but with CEL and has bad fuel clatter from engine. The code points to the optical sensor in the pump. Can water cause this to go bad or is it coincidence? Changed fuel filter many times before and never had a problem with air? Would air cause this? Truck is '95 C2500 with 149,000.
DOES ANYBODY HAVE ANY INPUT ON A SLIGHTLY DIFERRENT PROBLEM OR DO I NEED TO ASK THE SAME OLD QUESTIONS?
