I have a 2001 3500 with the Duramax. My truck is running great but two problems.
The first problem is when I am stopping for the first or second time when it is cold outside, before the truck stops completely, you can hear/feel a noise like sometime has slipped in the back end. It is hard to describe what is happening exactly, but I took it to the dealers and then did some brake work but it still has the problem. As it warms up outside, the problem goes away. Sometimes the ABS comes on when it makes this noise. Almost like something is loose and then just before the truck stops it tightens up? But after the first 1
