I am in the process of getting an 03' Max. I need help with the price. I am getting everything except for dual alternators and the backup alarm. I don't know what this truck will cost or should cost? Can someone help me? Send me somewhere where I can "truly" find a real price. Looking at the same thing I have now, except for DVD, cab lights, 6-disc and XM radio. Heck, It'll even be the same color outside.

I work for a Chevy dealer, if you give me what the window sticker price is and most of the options, i can give you what invoice should be. I need all the info to be able to do this. if you are interested, post it.

^...ww.carprice.com

On this site, build your truck as to the way you ordered it. You'll see the invoice price and the retail price. Also when buying, consider the holdback that the stealer gets, any rebates and their application (to customer or to dealer). $500 over invoice is a rule of thumb or there is a multiple factor (in decimal form) here on the forum (search) that is accurate to within dollars 100. I saw this not too long ago in a thread. It's in a thread of this same topic matter.

Burner-

The truck i built has retail of $47,701 and has an invoice of 41,703.08. I don't know what the market is where you live but right now in southern California, this truck would go for $1000 to $1500 over invoice. I hope this will help you in your search for the Duramax of your dreams smile.gif

I read in another thread here about http://www.ande.com (Ande Chevrolet) in the Cincinnati area. Supposedly only charge $49 over invoice. You can configure the model and options on their website.

It sounds too good to be true, but apparently there are satisfied customers posting here. I may check them out before I buy, as dealers in St Louis are asking 2K over invoice and not bothering to return my calls. Cincinnati isn't that far of a drive for me anyway.

I'm almost embarassed how much I paid for mine.
Would have been better without trade. Basically I got what I wanted for my '00 and paid invoice for '02. Bad part is I had $2000 rebate and a $1000 gas tank settlement check. Probably paid $1500 more than I should have.
Had to wait for my stealer to get an allotment for a Dmax, alot of people (maybe 10)waiting behind me for one if I didn't reach a deal.
Anyway, local supply and demand plays a large role bottom line.

Next time I will DEFINITLY check out these $49 over dealers, I ain't afraid to fly.
Guess I thought those deals were too good to be true, but from what I've seen on DP there's some pretty satisfied people.

Go to the Duramax forum. There is a topic " Sticker vs. invoice- how do you do it?" You will find what you need to know there.
