deadlyman ,

Very nice indeed !!!!!!!!!

Makes me remember as I was checking out your PICS, when I came across the stock rim tire combo, then your conversion, I'm thinking what the hell was on GM'S mind to put such puny tires on these fabulous rigs stock......Most guys would love to see an option such as this right off the show room floor....Be cheaper in the long run at dealer invoice......GM really lacks in wheel tire selection......

Looks great .....

Also being able to choose more substantial wheels and tires one could increase the GVW on the 2500HD because the main thing ,the rear axle , is in place for much more GVW then it is rated for. The 2500HD is actually in the same class with the single wheel Ford 350 but lacks about 700# GVW. Stu

Those look awsome
Just a few questions, you don't have to answer if you don't want to
1) where did you get them?
2) How much $$$ ?
3) will they ship to Canada?
4) how does it ride with the bars turned up 5 turns
Cheers

deadlyman,

Looks GREAT!!! I see you went with the LRH tires

Isn't it fun tightening those 40 lugs to 450-500 lb-ft ;)

Looks real good D-man. Did Bernie send you the lug nut caps also? How does the rear center cap go on? He didn't send me any caps or centers. He wanted $75 bucks for 40 thirty-five cent chrome caps and centers. No thanks. I got the screw on ones from Alcoa like Mdrags. Our center caps are for semi's so they look big and bad.

Deadlyman,
Alcoa would not sell direct to me (but did to Mdrag...go figure) so I had to order mine from an independent supplier for Alcoa.

Independent Operator Direct, LLC
2556 State Route 9
Salem, OH 44460-8180

Don't know where I put their number but you can call Alcoa customer ass. at 1-800-242-9898

Front part number is 076188
Rear part number is 077188

You will need to order 2 of each. These are complete kits for each wheel....lug caps and moon centers.

Maverick,

I got the hub cover/lug cover kits with my wheels from Arrowcraft. As far as dealing with Alcoa directly - I don't have special connections - I ordered from the website link below without problems (DiscMate spacers, vavle stem stabilizers/extensions, and wheel polish). I think it was part of the 'anti-Maverick' vendor conspiracy ;) .....

deadlyman,

The Alcoa website did not have the hub covers part #s that Maverick listed to work with these wheels. If you can't find a big truck store that can get these for you, check with:

www.southwestwheel.com .

Did you happen to notice the new Dura-Bright finish Alcoa wheels? Polished aluminum that stays shiny without polishing

www.dontpolish.com/

Looks interesting - specs for the Dura Brights list sizes for 22.5" and 24'5", no 19.5" though...
