or a Diesel

What a great, informative article! Did Jim have an out-of-truck engine for the photos? From where I stand I can barely see the filter.

That's his Project Truck engine I presume. The pictures are great but in real life the hard part is loosening the old filter in the confined space. Some have used a strap type oil filter wrench.
