Kinda makes me upset, I just purchased mine. I wonder if the new muffler helps the drone...

Give 'em a call. I did. They should help you out.

Do you guys know if they made the new muffler larger or just more baffling/diversion? Thanks.

installed the new kit about a week ago. I like the sound, I have no drone at any speed. cruising is very quiet, only when I get on it with the juice does it roar. The new tip is awesome too,the dual wall looks like the heat will never really touch the outer wall ( no yellowing). Very nice, except, I will definitely be changing out the sorry clamps included with the kit

What is the noise level like while towing?

I've only had mine a month and it was never mentioned to me when I talked to the salesmen a month ago. Gotta say I'm not real impressed with Salesmen ship of Banks Engineering - Dought I'll buy anything else from them ...

heartbeat,

i will be changing the ubolt style clamps the kit comes with to
shop.ivalueinternet.com/bigexhaust/index.cfm/action/productdetail/product_id/862.htm

4"and band clamps in short. the above link is only an example, may or may not be the clamp I buy. they just seem to seal better with less chance of crimping or bending the pipe.

very happy with the rest of the system though.
