Anybody use this grease? I have been reading that it is a pretty good and does not liquify like the Mobil 1 grease I am using now. What a mess that made on the shelf where I store the grease gun.

I am also looking for a sorce for the Schaeffer grease as I can't find it locally.

I've never heard of Schaeffer grease. Is this for the ball joints or something else?

I was talking to a racing hub mfr, and he recommended Chevron Delo hi temp bearing grease. He claimed it was the stickiest, most stable, waterproof grease he'd ever seen. I use Delo oil in my truck, but haven't found a source for the grease yet.

I have never heard of that brand of grease but I also had a problem with the mobile 1 grease turning into a red oily puddle at the end of my grease gun on the shelf.

I guess everything Mobile 1 isn't greatest stuff

I am going to try their #238 grease as soon as I use up my 3 tubes of this Mobil 1 stuff.

The Shaeffers Moly Supreame #267 gear lube is supossed to be pretty good as well. There is a neat pic on that oil guy site that shows how the lube will climb up spinning gears as compared to the Amsoil.

The only thing I wonder about is that the Shaeffer lube is a syhthetic blend, and will it protect a HOT differential as well as a full synthetic?

Here is some info on it.
