FUMOTO VALVE QUESTION

Hey guys - just got a Fumoto valve w/nipple. Can someone tell me what size hose fits the nipple ?
Also, should I use some teflon tape when I install the valve or just thread it on ?

3/8" (Home Depot, Lowes, etc.)

I did not use any thread tape or lubricant.

Don't know about the hose size, probably 3/8" or so. I just used some clear vinyl hose I have here, I don't know what size it is.

When you install the valve, don't use tape. The valve should have come with a washer gasket that will seal it up. It would be a good idea to clean the drain hole threads and use some lock-tite. It's not likely that you will be removing it anytime soon, and you don't want it to happen in your absense. Cheers.
