Axle Fluid Change

Changing qall the fluids this spring and am wondering. Book says to use 80W-90 in the front axle and 75W-90 in the real. I'm interested in using AMSOIL Severe Gear fluid but it is 75W-90.

Would it hurt to use 75W-90 in both axles?

Should be fine....

Our recommendation however, is to always use the recommended fluids and service intervals listed in your owners manual just in case you have a stickler for a dealer service manager.

I've used Amsoil gear lube through the years with good success in a variety of vehicles.
