View Full Version : Armor-all in the wheel wells!!!
Not sure where I read it, but I tried it today. Makes the truck look a whole lot better. A watered down version of Armor-all is what I used. Don't want credit for the idea, as it was someone elses, just passin' on a good tip. Now as trucks pass bye, you can first see if it's a D-max and then if he/she coats their wheel wells.

I've used it for years, before I discovered the silicone spray. It not only looks good when its clean, the mud has a hard time sticking to it. Makes cleaning up a piece of cake.
been doing that trick for years I now coat everthing underneath with Tire Foam and walk away, can't beat the way it looks.

So let me get this straight.
A watered down version of ArmorAll (%..?) or that tire foam stuff in the wheel wells.
After a good cleaning it will sure make the area look good but does it actually help cleaning the next time around?
Just soak 'er down eh?

I'm not sure what you guys are after? Are you trying to keep the wheel wells clean? I have always washed the Wheel wells as I wash the rest of the truck. Can't ever say I have waxed them though.

give it a try next time, makes everything that used to be black, black again. Will make the underneath of your truck look the way it did when you bought it.

Yeah, but then everyone will think you're a homo because you never get your truck dirty.

If you don't, everyone will think your a putz because you didn't take the time to clean your wheel wells after you got it dirty. There's always a different spin on things.
