Found this at NAPA
Hub Seal

K2500

NAPA showed me the seal, sat an hup assy. on counter to compair. Can't see why one would have problems just R&R the seal.

If you have the hub off take it to a bearing store like Bearing Inc and have them mic it and find you seal that way.

GM doesn't make the seal they have a bearing/seal company make them. ;)

called 5 bearing houses already, no one makes one any closer than .250 on od. timken is the manufacturer of the seal it is jrm 58000, but they wont sell one, even tried a sob story. i finally gave up and bought a used one for 65.00. truck was down a week, but i am stubborn, i refuse the give the parts house any of my money. probably should have bought a new one, but like i said i am stubborn  . they have a monoply going as far as i am concerned, and from what i have learned most of your front wheel and 4 wheel drive nowadays have a sealed hub. timken gave me a song and a dance about special grease and prelode and other bs. oh well i can buy 3 out of a wrecking yard for the price of one new one. good luck to anyone with the same problem, thanks for everyones help
