aux lamps . . . .???

Hey,

I was comparing my buddy Bob's 02 Chevy 2500HD CC with split bench seating - 6.0 gasser to my 02 GMC D/A w/ buckets.

Option for option almost exactly the same except..

I noticed that he has roof clearance lamps & I do not.
I have a storage pod to the right of my heater/ac control head, he has a plate with a single switch that says aux. lamps.

What are they??? Anyone got the answer I did a search of the forum and came up with zippo!!!

The aux lamps switch is part of the snow plow prep package. The switch runs a relay in the roof that is used for powering a flasher.
