Fuel primer

I will be trying to change fuel filter myself this time, I understand all steps except priming fuel when finished, where is primer, someone said pump 15-20 times....pump what?

There is a round "button" about 1 3/4" right on top of the fuel filter housing. For me, with an empty filter, it takes about 40 pumps.

Thanks, good thing it wasnt a snake. looked at it all morning and never tried to push it. Just finished. cranked right up thanks for your help!
