I was wondering if anybody had this type of a problem? Got in my truck the other day started it up the volt gauge pegged out at 19. Then the yesterday drove it for about 50 miles and I looked at the gauges and was down to 9 volts. Was wondering if anybody had this type of problem ? Put a meter on the altenator 14.5 volts. Just checking to see if anybody had any other ideas.I also checked the batteries also right around 14 volts.
