Tested a used 05 and a new 06, Both seamed to have
sway in he back end, especialy at highway sped.

Is this normal? Would sway bars help..?

You might check the air pressure in the tires. Being low can affect the handling.

I think More Power is right about the tire pressure. Some Salespersons have been known to lower the air pressure in the tires, to make the vehicles ride better. Not a good practice, but it is done. I have even heard of them adjusting the air psi in one front tire higher than the other on used vehicles in order to compensate for tire pull or misallignment pull of a used vehicle. I'm not saying that in your case the dealers did anything to the pressure on purpose, it is not uncommon at all for vehicles on the lots to have low tire pressure as well as fluids not to the correct levels. That is because they don't always do the dealer prep on a vehicle until it is sold.And that is when all of those items are corrected.
