I badly scuffed the plastic panel below
the front bumper (holds the fog lights) and
need to replace it.

Can't find the correct name for the piece at
GMpartsdirect.com..... any help would be
appreciated.

I had this part number for the front air dam in my notes - but I have NOT confirmed that it is correct:

Thanks...you were right on the money.
They call it a "Deflector".
Darn, their prices are cheap....but the
shipping and handling eats up any savings.

I'll order it locally.

we took ours off. John was hit on the passanger side a few weeks ago, and put a big dent in the bumper- it shifted the bumper enough that when we put on the bigger tires, they rubbed on the driver's side.but only rubbed that plastic piece. For 3 weeks, our truck has been without that piece, while searching for an aftermarket bumper...I'm beginning to like it without that part. But I don't have fog lights. going to check gmpartsdirect on the $$ for a replacement bumper....having a dent is not my idea of a good thing!
