A couple of weeks ago I noticed my truck leaning left from the rear view. After careful checking and measuring the left rear side of my truck is 1 inch lower, the axle on the left 0.5 inch closer to the overload block than the right side. Spring on the left is much flatter, without a sign of cracks or breaks. Dealer inspection brought nothing but a quote of $800 to replace springs on both sides. Truck is early 01, with 51K trouble free miles. Biggest trailer load has been 4K and never had more than 500 pounds in the box, so overloading hasn't occured. I'm curious whether anyone else has had a spring straighten out like this and did you replace with new or used?

Be sure to evaluate the front torsion bar adjustments at the same time. An uneven adjustment or sag due to age in the front could result in the rear of the truck also appearing unbalanced.

Be sure the truck is completely unloaded and sitting on a perfectly flat surface when measuring things.
