Took truck in for service yesterday. Not to a dealer

Technician could not locate any Mobil 1 75W90 Synthetic so he put Kendall Synthetic 80W140 in.

Has anyone used this? It says its GL5 rated.

Kendal makes great oil's but don't run a different weight in there.
