Shake rattle & roll

I have had Allison transmission trouble (sticking in 3rd) on my 2001 HD duramax from day one. After the latest fig I noticed a slight vibration and incorrect speed readings. The vibration has increased and between 80 & 85 will shake you out of the truck. Dealer said tires! I have new tires and had them balanced before I took the truck in. Besides taking the truck to another dealer, does anyone have any ides.

I have a 2002 2500 HD D/A. I haven't had any tranny problems but I have noticed that between at 44-48 mph my truck shakes from the rear like it is bouncing. I have uped the tire size from 245 to 285.I had my tire dealer rotate the tires and it became more prevelant. He seems to think it's the tires so they balanced them and I still get the hop. The GMC dealer said the same thing. I am getting pretty darn frustrated.

Update
Well i took it in to another dealer and they said U joints. 256.00 later still no fox. I talked to the Owner of the dealership and was told the problem would be fixed. Last notice was they are contacting GM Monday. At least they say they donin't know what is wrong (still think its the Allison)

Well after new u joints and alot of headace turns out it was the drive shaft. installed a new one, fixed the problem
