Hey Everyone. The Suburban stalls sometimes but only when it is cold, not after it warms up to operating temp. My Fuel Shut Off Solenoid, which is a long cylindrical looking thing attached to the injection pump, is a little loose. I can toggle it back and forth with my finger about 1/8 of an inch or so. It has a hex nut formed into the top of it which I COULD put a wrench on, but I am afraid to do so. Will that tighten it or what is that nut for? Please advise. Thanks very much in advance for your replies.

Using the hex, you can safely tighten it, or, for that matter, unscrew it and remove it for inspecting, with no problem.
