Tire Question

My friend is looking for some new tires for his 1985 GMC P/U. They will probably be in the 265 or 285 size range. He was asking me if I had any ideas. I told him a lot of people on the DP seem to like the Michelin. IIRC many people spoke highly of the LTX M/S and the LTX A/T. I assume that one is mud and snow and the other is all terrain. Any thoughts on the Michelins?? What is the approximate cost? I may have to get myself some soon.

Ihave the Michlein LTX A/S and really like them. Balance well and quiet good riding tire. I just have to overcome the French part of the Michlein next time. I got them at Discount Tire and they were about $120.00 plus tax if I recall correctly.
