Hit a concrete post coming out of a parking lot. Damaged dually fender. Wasn't a very hard blow but the compositematerial shattered like a Big Mac plastic toy. Part of it fell off...hole left.

Can it be repaired or will it have to be replaced ???
Friend of mine damaged his and had to replace it to the tune of $2,100.

I am no body shop tech...but I punched a hole in one of my fendors about 3 inchs big and a body shop filled in the hole from the inside and painted it. He said it was easier to fix than the old style fendors. Still can't tell there was ever a hole there. b

When I bought my truck I discovered a smal crack in the rear fender where the screws for the inner liner had been tightened too much. Dealer took the fender off and cut a wider "slot" and bonded it with a filler material. Can't tell. Now how big a fix they can make?? Who knows??

If you have the broken pieces to put it back togeather it might be fixed ok..It is all up to you..New is new and repaired is repaired..

If the insurance is paying for it..NEW..

If you have to pay out of your pocket..you might consider a repair..
