Fluid capacities

First off I did try and search this out and it seems that the posts I found could not agree on cap. I need the cap. of the Allison trans, rear dif. (not a locker) front dif and transfer case. The transfer case is the standard one without the auto option.

transfer case===============2.25qts

front diff==================2.1qts

rear diff===================4.0qts

tranny pan and filter=======7.4qts

tranny pan, filter, conv.===12.7qts

engine=====================10qts

From all I have learned on this informative board, I believe the rear differential is 4 quarts.

A little question about the rear diff. When filling it up, do you fill up until the starts to come out the drain plug. and doing it this way, it should take 4-5 quarts of 75-90? Thanks

can someone tell me what oil you use in the tansfer case with allison auto transmission. I would like to change it to synthetic....

its ok I found out from John Kennedy its ATF
