I want to change the gear lube in the G80. I would like to clean the magnet. Do I need to purchase a new gasket of seal for the punkin cover?

Believe it or not,GM included a drain plug. I changed mine at 7-K and found a few metal shavings on the magnet. What I drained out didn't look very nice either. I replaced the lube with Mobil One 75-90 and I think that this was a very good item to take care of.

Drain plug is on the bottom.

I changed mine at 500 and will change again.

I used about 4 quarts of mobil 1 synthetic. GM was going to cost me 90$ in fluid. I will change again soon but I am anal. She has 2000 on the ticker and I am going to change it after I put some load on the rear a couple times.
