Putting on my new running boards I
noticed that my front suspension has
ZERO clearance on the yellow bumperetes.
Is this normal - or should the torsion
bars be jacked up.This is on 02 3500 D/A
2 wheel drive ex cab long box.
Thanks
P.S. don't know how to put facts on bottom
of page!E.G. truck type excetra

It is normal. That is the way it is designed.

On the upper part of the screen under "post a reply" is "my profile" click there and go to edit your profile. There is a large box to type in your "signature". You can type on word and cut and paste it in.

Speaking of front suspenion, if I wanted to play with front end height how would I turn the torsion bars? Clockwise to raise, counterclockwise to lower?

Mike O,

That's correct. Clockwise to raise, counter-clockwise to lower. Use a breaker bar with an 18MM socket.

put 3 full turns on mine and it gave me 3/4 of a inch total lift its now of the bump stops . It did make it a little stiffer ride. put a few thousand miles on then see if your is the same ride hight from side to side ,most of us have found about 3/8 diffeance side to side....
