Has anyone put a set of F*#D torsion keys on their 2500HD to gain a little more hieght in the front? I have seen over on another forum many guys with 1500's have used them on their trucks with great sucess. Does anyone know if the keys on the 1500's and the 2500HD's are the same? Can I just get the ones they are using on their 1500's? Anyone know about this?

Not clear in my mind what is meant by 'keys'. Would it entail change out of our bars? ~ odoh

"Keys" being the arm portion that the adjusting bolt pushes up on. You undo that bolt all the way pull the T-bar out and then just swap out the "key". The torsion bar stays and is reused.

Check out http://www.hill4wheeldrive.com/ I'm not sure if the keys used for a HD are Ford. The 1/2 tons are.

Thanks for the reply. I posted a similar question as many of us are running out of adjustment on the drivers side. I queried the feasibility of unloading the torsion and re-indexing the 'key' to give the necessary lift. Not one response as I recall.

From what I have seen, all the Hills leveling kit is is two "F*#D" Keys. Atleast I for the 1500's. I am trying to figure out if that is the same for the 2500HD's? The price difference is like $100 so why spenfd the extra money if the stock F*#D keys wil work?

I can't find any info on the keys needed for a HD. Do a search on www.fullsizechevy.com for torsion keys. You'll get a lot of opinions if you can disregard the egos. That's the best thing about this forum. High on advice not high on yourself!!!!!
