What kind of brake (pad) life have you all found using our trucks both towing and empty.
Thanks

With over 27K to date, I have noticed no degrade in performance or any decrease in the thickness of the pads. I have about 5K of the milage towing a 12K 5'ver on some very hilly roads. Not really much to go by, but I drive mine like I stole it.

And I have to add, the brakes are incredibly good.

I don't hear a whisper about any brake performance dissatisfaction.

I took one guy for a ride, then had to stop quickly so as not to miss a turn. He was really impressed at the acceleration, then the smooth precise stopping these four wheel discs provide.

BTT.

How many miles do you guys have on your set of stoppers???? Does the extra weight of the DMax change the life of the pads in front? Thanks!

I am 25K plus gross almost on a daily basis and I have 95,480 miles on the 3500 and the pads are still only 1/4 to 1/3 gone. Holding up real good. My pedal was getting mushy so I had them replace the master cylinder and do a brake fluid flush. Still seems the same. Maybe a little better. Also had idler and pitman arms and alignment done also. Oh ya and a ECM reflash. Bill was almost a grand. Gotta love that maintanence

I've got 21k on my '02 CC/SB and brakes are still perfect, no noise, squeaks, pull etc. Much better than the brakes ever were in my old '97 K2500 6.5TD Suburban!

I have nearly 150,000km on my dually, last time I did a brake check I had roughly 70% left on the front and 65% on the rears. Occasional squeaks and squeels from dirt in the brakes but has been very rare since I put in the caliper guards.

Long lasting pads usually sacrifice stopping distances. Not these, its amazing how quickly you can stop 8000lbs when a moose wanders out in front of you.
