How much less should "RED DIESEL" cost?

It would not have your State's Highway taxes - in MT, that's about 50 cents. Fine for getting caught - priceless smile.gif

Sorry - just being facetious - everyone knows a Red Diesel's more'n a Beige Diesel, or a Brown Diesel........

See - there I go again, just couldn't help myself! ;)

In Oregon, Red Diesel is ~$2.20 /gallon at the same station where onroad is $2.59 / gallon.

Diesel prices have seemingly stabilized here. Waiting for them to drop.

In our local paper, here in the Northwest diesel seems to be higher than the rest of the country. With Oregon being the resting place of all the pot smoking, grateful dead following, ex hippee tree huggers, we dont have any refineries.

That and the paper claims that some pipeline in canada was down for 5 days, plus the refineries in Washington switching over to no sulphur. Oh, lest we not forget the switch from winter blend to summer blend and the harder winter in the east this year.

Way I see it, there are some legitimate reasons, but me thinks me smell some rats.
