Would like some input on the following to be used primarily during the winter months in Wyoming.
to be mounted on 2004 SRW 3500 D/A LLY

Cooper Tires Discoverer M&S LT265/75R16 Load "E"
Alcoa Classic rims (I think 16 x 6.5) 7" if available.

I will use factory OEM rims and tires the rest of the year. tongue.gif

Ive got 285 Cooper S/T's on mine. Next step up is SS/T. Nice offroad and still streetable but IIRC, they are D range. S/T rides nice, now to find some snow...

I have run Cooper Discoverer M&S on three trucks. Currently running the LT265 75/16 E (no studs)on my 3/4 ton Sub and C range on my 1/2 ton Z71. They perform excellent in the snow/ice,a s well as dry and wet roads. They are a softer compound than the AT's so wear will be faster. I would guess you will see 30-35K out of a set with frequent rotation. Throw a little weight in the back (especially with that LLY) and you will be very happy. BTW, I swap them out for stockers in the summer, so they should last about three winters. Congrats on the new truck.
