How long before your ordered truck came in

How long did most of you wait for you ordered truck to be delivered? Gonna put an order down on an 03 GMC cab and chassis and would like a delivery 6 to 8 weeks from now...which the dealer is claming is the exact amount of time it will take. Of course if I wait too long to order Ill be waiting on an 04' I guess the cut off date for orders is coming up next month. Man cant wait....wanna order it now and take delivery tommorrow :D :D :D . Bill, I ordered mine the first week of May last year and it arrived the first week of August. Since they made some changes from the 02s to the 03s I would think that mine took longer than normal. Since you're ordering an 03 in 03 it should be pretty quick to show up.

From what everyone seems to be saying, I don't think you have any crazy long waits like I and some others did. In fact, some seem to come very quickly.

Mine: ordered 7/26/01, took delivery 4/5/02. I don't belive this sort of thing happens any more.

Likewise mine was nov 11, 01 and took delivery 14 May 02

Mine was ordered August 28 00 and delivered December 22 00. Almost 4 months but that was during the fist few months of production and I was waiting for one of those rare 6 speeds.
