I've got a really strange problem in my "03 2500HD CC D/A.
I never run with any air in my lumbar support.
The last couple of days, when I get in the truck after it sits for a short while,
the lumbar will be inflated.
Anybody had this problem before??
Thanks
Dickie
Are you by chance using the 'wrong' remote to unlock the truck? The personal driver options are saved for 'Driver 1' and 'Driver 2' and the truck will load one of those preferences depending upon which remote is used.
Later....

Later.... I dont believe the memory for the seats adjust the lumbar support???
I know its easy to lean against the seat and it moves or inflates. Could your butt be hitting it on the way out
Also check your door pocket to see if there is something hitting the button when the seat is in the exit position.
No, you're not crazy. Mine does this, too. And the memory seat will move me a little too far forward each time it activates with key in. I've had it in to the stealer, of course they said nothing was wrong -- "could not duplicate" was their phrase (for we don't give a sh!^) and I'll be trying a new stealership soon. I've even felt mine cycling up and down in lumbar support pressure like a back massager. If only it was supposed to be so fancy.
Little issues and poor customer service equals major aggravation.

BTW Dickie, mine is also a 2003 2500 HD 4x4 CC SB D/A. Build date April 2003.
I thought I was imagining it, but I believe that mine does it too...
Ha! I thought it was just me as well. My 2002 does it, too.

Has anyone actually found the fix for this? Is this a computer malfunction or something with the position sensors or what?
It seems minor compared to injector failures or transfer case issues, but I really want this fixed.

Last week I let the lumbar support all way down and reset the #1 seat memory button.
The ghost has not reappeared since then. Hope that's what is was and the ghost stays away!!!!
