I am running Michelin LTX 285's with right at 64,000 miles and they look like they will easily go another 10k.

What are you running and how far do you think they will go?

I'm not a Goodyear fan, would rather have Micks but my truck was delivered with the GYs and I now have 15000+ on them. I have rotated and rebalanced them ever 5k. So far they are looking good. No abnormal wear.
If you drive a dually the outside rears will wear faster due to scuffing, that is why I rotate them often.
My 93 had Micks on it and they went about 67k.
It was also a dually and the tires were rotated the same as I am doing on the 03.

Truck came with Firestones, were down to wear bars by 45K, replaced @ 45K due to tire pucture, otherwise was going to run them to 50K. I now have the Mich LTXs on.

285 BFGs ATs and 65000 miles on the truck. If you add 8% for the increased size, it comes out at just over 70K miles. I would say I have 60K on the BFGs as I run a narrower tire in the winter on the PYOs. Still have 10000ish miles left.......

Heard the Nittos leave something to be desired...

Check out Firestone Destination extreme off road tires (E load rated), they are rated best overall at the Tire Rack.

had the michelin 265 then 285 ltx's. now have revo 285's and although they are just a touch noisier, they difference in performance is huge. revos stick better in rain, snow, mud, and dry pavement and seem to be lasting significantly longer with a heavy foot and 400hp.

I just bought new set 265 LTX. My first set of LTX went 60M+ miles. I wanted the Revo's, but after talking to some that had them, they did not think they would wear the 50M rated mileage. I'd would have went with Revo's if I knew I could have gotten the same mileage as the ltx.

I have the original Firestone SteelTex and at 60K they still have a good 20k left.

No Michelins for me. I can't stand the thought of sending a dollar to the French.

Still have my original Firestones on the stock rims for winter. Burned the back ones up pretty good last year getting stuck in the snow. :D

Have a set of Nitto Extreme Force NT404 305/50/20's on the Welds. Now that's a great tire.

I have stock size Goodyear, they are Wrangler RTS and I will get 45,000 out of them. The 100 + heat kills rubber products, put tires under a load with a 10,000 LBS fith wheel and you can just see rubber marks on the pavement. My tires are giving me a shorter life then what I want, since the company sends me a pay check still I will continue to support them!
