Do not grind crank? Please help. Info needed.

When rebuilding my motor I was steered to not grind my crank. My feeble memory tells me that it was a GM Service Bulletin Does anybody have the number of that bulletin so I can get my dealer to print it out? Better yet, how about a link to it so I can print it out myself.
