Ground location

Tried doing a search to get all the specific locations of grounds on my 94 Sub. Couldn't come up with anything. Having some electrical problems and going to start by cleaning the grounds. If anyone could help it would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

GM has IMHO had a bad ground plane design for years, I had some weird ground faults in my 90 gasser some time back that showed with poor charging and also dimming of under hood trouble light when disconnecting my CB radio go figure; path of least resistance was thru CB hook up.

Searching around I found the factory gnd strap at back of engine to frame was broken. It was hard to get to so I took a standard double ring lug battery cable tied 1 end to the frame and other end to the alternator mounting bolt.

I never had a gnd problem since, did the same with my 98 TD as soon as I bought it after reading varioius weird electrical problem posts here, knock on wood so far no weird electrical gremlins yet.
