Which Vehicles have 4L80E w/4:10 rear gear

Is their an easy source for which '94 thru '97 vehicles had available both the 4L80E and 4:10 rear end ratio.

I am looking for the eletronic module that conditions/converts the transmission A/C voltage speed signal output into the square wave that the computer uses as a vehicle speed signal input.

Is this 4L80E module the same for both mechanical and eltronic FI 6.5's for years '94 thru '97?
I need one for the mechanical FI/HD 6.5.

Another member has provided infor on aftermarket part that does this, however it is a little expensive. It is better, in that it is programable, vs factory component which is not.

I think the name of the part your looking for is called the VSSB. Vehicle Speed Sensor Buffer. Dealers refer to it as a DRAC. Digital Ratio Adapter (something).

Factory 14 pins are programmable. I've done it and so have hundreds of others. You need the 1999 Featured Articles Book.

I don't know if it will work on Mechanical Injection though.

I might just have what you are looking for...its been sitting on my desk for a year or so, since I repowered my 1994 with the broken crankshaft.

This module was sent with the ECM from a 1998 C3500 with a 4L80E and 4.10 gears. Note: 2WD truck.

If memory serves me correctly, it piggyback'd on the ECM, or was on the transmission and removed, then sent with the ECM...not entirely sure. Its about 3.5" square and has 12 pins in a row, 1 group of 4, a gap, and another group of 8.

1999 burbs come standard w/4.10 & 4L80e, I'll post the correct pin (14 pin) setting for this combo a little later.

Aftermarket speed correction devices would not work on my burb because of the autotrac t-case w/it's 3 speed sensors.

The VSSB is independent of the rest of the electronics the vehicle may or may not have. My understanding is that any VSSB will work with any vehicle that requires one. All of them can be programmed to match any axle and/or transmission ratios. (and tire sizes). Instructions on how to do that were published here and most likely are in the 6.5 reprint book. If you already have one, just reprogram it to match your current circumstances, otherwise find one, any one, and program it.
