1994 SURBURBAN: The truck will stall and not restart until the bleeder on top of the filter is loosened then restarts.Only does this when idling or on take off. Installed a new lift pump took the filter housing out cleaned everything installed new filter. truck is still stalling.Need help?

94 has no computer monitoring of the lift pump. LP is powered by a fuel relay on start & the Oil Pressure Switch after oil pressure comes up (OPS is behind #7 or in the valley & has 3 wires going to it, $23-30 part). The OPS is famous for dying before its time.

Checked the ops it works fine. thanks for the checkout procedure I will go through it this weekend. I just hope its not the ip. it will not crank unless the pressure is relieved at the fuel filter bleeder.

When you open the bleeder, do you get fuel or air?
