Hello,
I have a 6.2 Blazer K5,with a 10 bolts axle. I think it is 3.08 ratio.
(The proper shaft turns a bit more than 3 times for 1 wheel turn)
I have 33x12.50 tires.I was thinking to change the diferential for a 3.73,for towing with the 33

The twelve bolt axle would be better. The GM 12 bolt car and truck axles use the same carrier and gear assemblies, but the housings are different. However, there are different 12 bolt axles available in the GM vehicles (Eaton, Dana, GM).

With the 6.2 and 33" tires, I would think that you would want to use a 4.10 ratio depending on how much weight you plan to tow.

I must agree with ronniejoe, and use a 4:10 axle ratio. If you have 4 wheel drive, then you must also change the front differential gearing, or never use 4wheel drive. smile.gif

Yes i know that both diferentials must to have the same ratio.
I would need to carry 2000 kg (5000lb? )or so,between the trailer and the cars that will go onto it .

In what kind of vehicles can i found a good 12 bolts?
I think there is a 80
