Can you tow a gooseneck trailer with a short bed?

I know all the guys at the campgroud use the fithwheel type, becuse when they get their ,they unlock it and slide it back alot ,or else when they turn tight it would hit the cab.

Ditto, 29.
I tow my 5'er with a SB. My hitch is a slider. I don't know of any GN hitches with that ability. With my setup, I can also pin-in a GN ball.
To answer your question, yes. You can tow a GN. The only problem you will have is the turning radius. Depending on the trailer, it may not effect you at all.
Like said depends on the trailer. I have a GN flat bed and a large weatherguard box on the front of the bed and it fits fine.
B&W also makes a adapter to move the GN ball back some, 4 inch maybe.

Anyone used the B&W 4" extender??? Just wondering if it moves the weight to far back past the center of axle???

I have a short bed with a B&W hitch that I installed myself.I pull an Exiss car hauler trailer and it has a fairly square nose. I had to install the hitch just a little behind the axle and then also use a 4in extender because with this trailer it requires 49in cab to ball or you will hit the cab. It does pull and handle just fine. It does squat a little more because of that.We have a dually that we pull this trailer with also and it handles the weight better.
I have a Pullrite Superglide slider fifth wheel hitch in my short bed and I love it. It slides to the rear as you turn, no pins to pull.
