I pulled my 6.2...found broken piston...need to order 6.5 rebuilt(?) replacement...I'm seeing terms like 'C' series and 'J' series engines, what does this mean and where are these codes found? Are there any sites that show vehicle to engine model compatability? I have an 82 GMC Sierra 2500 4x4 w/Auto trans...any ideal engine I should look to order...yep...I'm a newbie.
