1967 Suburban Duramax Project

I am in the process of swapping a Duramax and Dana 60 axles into a 67 3/4 Suburban. Has anyone done this in a 67-72 C/K. If so, I would appreciate any suggestions or help!

I spoke with another member a few months back who was in the process of installing a D/A in an 80's crew cab. He ran into frame rail interference that required extensive modification. Something about exhaust manifold/downpipe issues.

So, I'd suggest a trial fit before committing to the project.

The frame rails in the 90's+ trucks/SUV's widen considerably at/behind the front wheelwells, where the 60's-80's frame rails are more straight from front to back.
