Why did you elect to go away from the Pull-Rite hitch when you sold the Suburban and bought the D-Max? Thanks.

Hi Ron, the reason for the PullRite in the first place was stability with a heavy trailer, on a suburban with a 131"WB. with the new K-3500, 167"WB, my wheel base is 36" longer, plus the 9900lb GVW in lieu of the 8600lb GVW of the suburban. This rig is long enough so I went with the Reese this time to make the corners easier. The PullRite is a great hitch, but with the HP weight distributing Reese hitch I'm fine. Stability is a real science with towing, but the longer and heavier the tow vehicle the better stability you have. (sorry for the late reply, been out of town a bit) ;)
