I returned in late Oct from a 2000+ mi. trip pulling a 9000 lb TT. I travelled mainly I-75 from KY to central FL and back. I kept track of fuel economy manually and received between 10.4 and 11.5 mpg. Upon returning home, I had thr rig weighed and here are results: FR 4100#, RR 4480#, AND TT AXLES 7860# for a GCVW of 16440#.

The truck pulled wonderfully and the cooling fan only came on once (Jellico Mtn.), each direction. Any Questions? I love this truck.

BTW, trans temp generally remained around 180, never exceeded 205F.

Those are fairly average numbers for your overall weights, nice set-up.

Just curious, but where exactly is Jellico Mtn?

Jellico Mtn. is in Northern TN, on I-75. It is 5 or 6 mi. at 5% to 6% grade (or more). It is a good indicator if a truck is going to pull or not and if there will be any problems.
