Edge EZ??

Do you need to upgrade your exhaust system with the Edge EZ module. I've tried to find info on this but haven't. Thought somebody here could help answer this.

You should be fine with the EZ and stock exhaust. Gauges are always recommended with any mod, but the EZ is a pretty darn safe, and simple unit. For future reference, you'll get more replies in the Duramax 6600 Forum.

May issue of Trailer Life has a good article on the Edge Product.
The newest Attitude II interfaced with the Edge Juice sounds like a good combo between Power and Towing. Based on 6.0 Ford, RR dyno,stock 266HP @3290 and 467 LB-FT @2090. Level 5 372HP @ 3100, 692LB-FT @ 2575.
Though Suggested retail price for the combo kit, $1,900 :rolleyes: :(

just took the ez off my truck04.5 lly.on the 65 tune which is the highest egt's no load wot where through the roof.i backed out at 1400 degrees.have exhaust and afe intake.just my experience.

For me the EZ seems to be fine with EGT's. I will be towing the trailer in sig this weekend for the first time. Running around empty EGT's got to 1300 at the 65 horse setting with the pedal mashed and running uphill. Won't be pulling the trailer that way.
