I have been reading in other threads about changing OEM shocks to Bilsteins. Has anyone done this and noticed any difference when towing a 5er. My fifth-wheel is 29 ft and weighs about 10,000 lbs loaded. Towing with a 2002 2500HD 4x4
SB Dmax/Allison.

Whether you tow or not ,Bilsteins are a great addition!! smile.gif You won't regret putting them on. I tow about 8k. I only had about 12k on my stock shocks when I switched and the Bilsteins ride soooo much better. smile.gif David

My 5er is about 12000 lbs. I changed to Bilsteins
at 13000 miles. What a difference. The rear OEM
shocks were shot. Made the biggest improvement while towing. Well worth the money.
