Vehicle Identification Number

I recently went to the website Gmpartsdirect.com and wanted to check for parts for my vehicle. However, I have a 96 Suburban and wish to upgrade and buy parts from a 97-99 model year Suburban.

My problem is that I need the last 8 numbers of a valid vin#.

Is there anyone out there that could help me.
