Replacing the 5.7L TBI/4L60/NP241 with a Duramax/Allison/NVG-263 meant creating a new precision balanced front & rear driveshaft for the Project truck. Aside from getting some new pieces that'll work for our rather unique application, this also presented an opportunity to talk about driveshafts and U-joints used in all GM light-trucks and SUV's.

Product Review: How do you define a pickup truck "enthusiast"? Automatic drive-through car washes work for lots of folks, but the typical auto wash has a hard time with road grime, and they usually fail to get in all the nooks and crannies in the grille, bumpers and wheels. Hand washing is the preferred vehicle washing method used by enthusiasts. To reach this market segment, the industry has responded with a plethora of products designed to help produce a better end-result - a cleaner and shinier vehicle. The new Mr. Clean AutoDry Carwash system is the latest in this marketing trend, and we here at The Diesel Page thought you might like to know how it performs.
